Cast Iron Hibachi Steak

Ingredients

Serves 2

  • 1 striploin steak
  • 1/2 Tbsp of garlic (minced)
  • 1/8 cups of soy sauce
  • 1 Tbsp of oyster sauce
  • 4 Tbsp of butter (unsalted)
  • Bang bang sauce (https://honeybit.cooking/recipes/25/)

Directions

1. Heat a cast iron skillet to high.

1. Season steak with salt and pepper, and sear for 60 seconds on each side.

1. While the steak is searing, make the sauce: Mix garlic, soy sauce, and oyster sauce.

1. Add butter to skillet and cook the steak for one more minute on each side, basting each side with the butter.

1. Turn off the heat, and mix the sauce with the butter in the skillet.

1. Serve with rice and bang bang sauce.
